A diverse band performing on stage with a large banner behind them that reads 'Stabbitha and the Knifey Wifeys'. The scene is dark with stage lights illuminating the band members, who are playing instruments including drums, guitar, bass and vocals.

“…no idea how the singer is alive after soundcheck… so much power!!” - Kathleen Hanna, Bikini Kill

“Stabbitha & The Knifey Wifeys deliver a live set that is so intense that it’s hard to take your eyes off the action for a single moment” - Tone Deaf, Tyler Jenke

“Uncompromising, exhilarating and hecking good” - Triple J, Dave Ruby Howe

“…there is an immeasurable amount of power in what these women deliver musically” - The Music, Will Oakshot

Stabbitha and the Knifey Wifeys are a four piece Australian punk/hardcore band from Kaurna Land (Adelaide, South Australia).

Stabbitha releases explore the horrors of being a woman, the queer experience, and the physical manifestations of grief and loss. Life is hard, be frustrated and unhinged with us for an hour and come out the other side of our shows feeling just a bit better about it.

The band quickly found traction in supporting touring artists from Australia and across the globe, leaving punters speechless.

They weren’t expecting this.

Newest Release ‘III’ is about how when we fail to cope, we finally learn to live with death.

The lyrics to first single ‘Stockyard’ were written by Sass (lead vocals) whilst she worked in one of the largest Mortuaries in Australia.
